Chain of transmission
Summary
A report from Malik that he was told the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate, beginning with praise of God in terms close to those in Surat al-An'am, and then asking Him to settle his debt, enrich him from poverty, and let him enjoy his hearing, sight and strength in His path. The editor notes that one copy has "strengthen me", and that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. Ibn Abi Shayba (10/209) transmitted it from Abu Khalid al-Ahmar from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Muslim ibn Yasar as a mursal, saying it was among the Prophet's supplications, and Muslim ibn Yasar is a Successor. 1
