Summary

The first hadith in the chapter on ordering the prayer before the sermon at the two festivals. Yahya transmits from Malik from Ibn Shihab as a mursal that the Prophet ﷺ prayed on the day of breaking the fast and on the day of sacrifice before the sermon. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan transmitted it, and that its meaning is established in the Sahihayn from Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas and Jabir ibn Abdullah (may God be pleased with him), and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
