Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on blessing the Prophet ﷺ. Yahya transmits from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr (may God be pleased with him) ibn Hazm from his father from Amr ibn Sulaym al-Zuraqi, that Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi told him that they asked the Prophet how they should bless him, and he taught them to say: O God, bless Muhammad and his wives and his offspring as You blessed the family of Abraham, and bless Muhammad and his wives and his offspring as You blessed the family of Abraham; You are praiseworthy and glorious. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, al-Nasa'i, Ahmad and al-Shafi'i from Malik's transmitters, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
