Summary
The first report in the chapter on the witr after dawn. Yahya transmits from Malik from Abd al-Karim ibn Abi al-Mukhariq al-Basri from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: Abdullah ibn Abbas (may God be pleased with him) slept, then woke and told his servant, whose sight had gone, to look at what people were doing. The servant returned and told him the people had finished the dawn prayer. Ibn Abbas rose, prayed the witr, and then prayed the dawn prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan transmitted it. 1 2
