Summary

A saying of Malik in the chapter on the command to pray the witr: whoever prays the witr early in the night, then sleeps, then rises and wishes to pray more, should pray in pairs and not repeat the witr. This is what he liked best of what he heard on the question. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. 1
