Summary

A saying of Malik in the chapter on the imam who alights in a village on Friday while on a journey: if the imam leads the Friday prayer while travelling in a village where Friday prayer is not obligatory, then there is no Friday prayer for him, for the people of that village, or for those who prayed with them from elsewhere. The people of that village and any non-traveller should complete the prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. 1 2
