A report that Malik says he asked Ibn Shihab about speaking on Friday when the imam has come down from the pulpit before he begins the takbir. Ibn Shihab said there is no harm in it, in the chapter on listening quietly on Friday while the imam preaches. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1
