Summary
A report that Malik says he asked Ibn Shihab and Nafi', client of Ibn Umar, about a man who joined the imam in prayer after the imam had already completed a rak'a, and whether he should recite the tashahhud with the imam in the second and fourth rak'as even when that makes his prayer odd. They both said yes, he should recite it with him. Malik says this is the practice of the people of Medina. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Abd al-Razzaq transmitted it. 1 2
