Chain of transmission
Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab, who used to say that if a man catches a rak'a and says one takbir, that takbir suffices for him; Malik adds that this holds when he intends the opening of the prayer by it. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1
