Summary

A report that Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Adi ibn Thabit al-Ansari from al-Bara' ibn Azib, in the chapter on recitation in the sunset and night prayers: al-Bara' prayed the night prayer with the Prophet ﷺ and recited the surah of al-Tin in it. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd, al-Qa'nabi and Qutayba transmitted it from Malik, in al-Nasa'i, and that it is in the Sahihayn through other channels. He refers to his commentary on al-Tirmidhi (310) and to al-Tamhid. 1
