«لا يسمع مدى صوت المؤذن جن ولا إنس ولا شيء إلا شهد له يوم القيامة»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'sa'a al-Ansari al-Mazini from his father, in the chapter on the call to prayer: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri told him that he sees him love sheep and the desert. When he is among his sheep or in the desert and calls to prayer, he should raise his voice, for no jinn, human or thing hears the caller's voice to its end without bearing witness for him on the Day of Resurrection, and Abu Sa'id said he heard this from the Prophet ﷺ. The editor cites al-Bukhari, al-Nasa'i, Ahmad and al-Shafi'i and al-Bayhaqi. 1 2
