Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father from Zaynab bint Abi Salama (may God be pleased with her), in the chapter on the woman with irregular bleeding: Zaynab bint Jahsh (may God be pleased with her), wife of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf (may God be pleased with him), who used to have irregular bleeding, washed and prayed. The woman named here is the sister of the Mother of the Believers Zaynab bint Jahsh, not the Mother of the Believers herself, since the report calls her the wife of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it from Malik, and that Ibn Abi Shayba transmitted it from Abda ibn Sulayman from Hisham. 1
