Berke
Jochi's sons were Nuqaya and Berke. Berke embraced Islam at the hands of a shaykh of the companions of Najm al-Din Kubra in Bukhara. He asked his brother Mengu-Timur for leave to seize the lands of the caliphate. 1
Sarai and Uzbek
Their state was in Sarai until Uzbek ruled. Islam appeared among them, and they intermarried with the kings of Egypt. 1
