Overview
Mengu Timur ibn Tughan ibn Nazu Khan ibn Dushi (Jochi), king of the Dasht in the north after Berke, in 665 AH. 1
His rule
Ibn Khaldun says that his days were long, and that in 670 AH he marched on Constantinople, where its king met him in submission and desire, and he turned back from it. 1
Then in 680 AH he marched on the lands of Syria in support of Abagha ibn Hulagu, and besieged Hama. The reverse came upon him near Homs from al-Mansur Qalawun. 1
His death
He died in 681 AH (1282 CE, the conversion is derived), and his son Tudan ruled after him. He is one of the rulers of the Golden Horde. 1
