Summary
Abu Burayda al-Aslami (may God be pleased with him), chief of his people; he set out chasing Quraysh's bounty and became Muslim upon meeting 1.
On the hijra road
He went out after the Prophet and Abu Bakr hoping to win the great reward Quraysh had proclaimed; when he faced the Prophet and spoke with him he became Muslim on the spot, with seventy men of his people 1.
Then he took off his turban, bound it to his spear and made it a banner proclaiming that the king of security and peace had come to fill the world with justice and equity 1.
