Summary

Malik was asked about a man who says to another: I will carry you to the House of God. He said: if he intended to carry him on his neck, seeking hardship and the weariness of his soul, that is not owed by him; he walks on foot and offers. If he intended nothing, he makes the pilgrimage and rides, and makes the pilgrimage with that man with him. If he refuses to make the pilgrimage with him, nothing is owed by him, and he has discharged what he owed. 1
