Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Hibban, that Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani (may God be pleased with him) said: a man died at Hunayn, and they mentioned him to the Messenger of God ﷺ; he said: pray over your companion. People's faces changed at that, and he said: your companion has embezzled in God's path. We opened his baggage and found beads from the beads of the Jews that were not worth two dirhams. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr saw disagreement about the name of the narrator from Zayd, and that the correct one is from Abu Amra. 1
