Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said that he heard Said ibn al-Musayyab say that people on campaign, when they divided their booty, used to value a camel at ten sheep. The editor notes that valuing ten sheep as one camel is established as the Prophet ﷺ's own practice in the two Sahihs, from Rafi ibn Khadij. 1
