«كانت تلبس المعصفرات المشبعات وهي محرمة، ليس فيها زعفران»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
Malik transmits from Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, that Asma bint Abi Bakr (may God be pleased with her) used to wear saturated saffron-dyed garments while in ihram, which had no saffron. The editor notes that the word 'garments' dropped from copy M, and that Abu Musab (1042), Suwayd (488) and Yahya ibn Bukayr (in al-Bayhaqi) transmitted it from Malik. 1
