Summary
Malik transmits from Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, that al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (may God be pleased with him) used to take with him, in ihram, dried gazelle meat (safif). Malik says: al-safif is dried meat (qadid). The editor notes that Abu Musab (1138) and Suwayd (571) transmitted it from Malik, and that Malik will give the explanation later. 1
