Summary
A saying of Malik: whoever is held back from the pilgrimage after entering ihram, whether by illness or something else, or by a mistake in the count, or the new moon was hidden from him, is one held back, and has the same ruling as the one held back. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1168) transmitted it from Malik. 1
