Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, that he used to say: whoever owes making up Ramadan and does not make it up, while strong enough to fast, until another Ramadan comes, feeds for each day a needy person a mudd of wheat, and besides that owes making up. The editor notes that Abu Musab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik (467). 1
