Malik said: that is the Sunna on which there is no disagreement among us, and the practice that has never ceased among people: the claimants of blood begin the oath of fifty, both in deliberate and mistaken killing. Malik said: the Messenger of God ﷺ began with the people of Ahraythiyyin in the case of their companion who was killed at Khaybar. 1
