Summary
A saying of Malik: likewise, for all partners in any grain harvested, palms cut or vines picked: if each one of them cuts five wasqs of dates, picks five wasqs of raisins or harvests five wasqs of wheat, he owes zakat on it; whoever's share is less than five wasqs owes no charity. Charity falls only on whoever's cutting, picking or harvest reaches five wasqs. The editor records the variants between copies and notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik. 1
