Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said that Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm (may God be pleased with him) seized a Nabatean who had stolen iron rings, and held him to have his hand cut off. Amra bint Abd al-Rahman sent a freed woman of hers to him saying: Amra says to you: there is no cutting except for a quarter of a dinar or more. He released the Nabatean. 1
