Summary
Malik said of people who come to a house and steal from it together, carrying out a sack, a chest, a plank, a basket, or anything else that the group carry together: if they take it out of its protected place while carrying it together, and the value of what they carried out reaches what requires cutting, which is three dirhams or more, then all of them owe the cutting. If each one carried out goods separately, then whoever carried out goods worth three dirhams owes the cutting, and whoever did not carry out that amount owes no cutting. 1
