Summary
Yahya said: Malik told us, from Abdallah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm (may God be pleased with him), that it reached him that the Messenger said about the torrents of Mahzur and Muhaddhib: hold back until the ankles, then release the upper to the lower. The editor notes that the report is connected and raised through several routes, though weak, and that Ibn Abd al-Barr considered it a well-known Medinese report acted upon by the people of Medina. 1
