Summary
Malik says he heard the people of knowledge say: if a woman dies with no women to wash her, and no unmarriageable male relative or husband to take charge of it, she is given the dry ablution, and her face and hands are wiped with clean earth. Malik adds: if a man dies with only women present, they also perform the dry ablution for him. Abu Musab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1
