Summary

Malik says: a man should not buy food for a quarter, a third, or a fraction of a dirham, on condition that he gives food for it on a term. There is no harm if a man buys food with a fraction of a dirham on a term, and then pays a dirham and takes some goods with the rest of his dirham; because he has paid the silver fraction that was owed, and he took goods with the rest of his dirham. This is no harm. 1
