Summary
Malik says: an advance is not proper on any of these items when a specific one is named, unless the one who advances takes what he advanced for when he pays the gold to the other: he takes possession of the slave, the mount or the dwelling, or begins with the fresh dates he bought, taking some of them when he pays the gold to the other. It is not proper that any of these involve delay or a term. 1
