Chain of transmission
Summary
The first report in the chapter on the traveller's prayer when he resolves to stay. Yahya transmits from Malik from Ata al-Khurasani that he heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab say that whoever resolves on a stay of four nights while travelling completes the prayer. Malik says this is the most beloved of what he heard on the matter. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd, Abd al-Razzaq and Yahya ibn Bukayr in al-Bayhaqi transmitted it. 1 2
