Summary

A report from Malik that he was told Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab used to say that sleeping before the night prayer and talking after it are disliked, in the chapter on night prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it from Malik, and that Ibn Abd al-Barr said that although the Prophet ﷺ is not named in it, it is transmitted from him widely and well known through Abu Barza al-Aslami and others. The hadith of Abu Barza is in the Sahihayn. 1 2
