Yahya ibn Yahya al-Ghassani, mufti of the people of Damascus in his time. He died in the year 135 AH according to al-Shirazi, and after him the fatwa in Syria was confirmed on the school of al-Awza'i and Sa'id ibn Abd al-Aziz ¹.
