Overview

Musharrif al-Dawla Abu 'Ali b. Baha' al-Dawla al-Daylami; the khutba was made for him after his brother Sultan al-Dawla in 412, and the caliph al-Qadir received him in 414 with a reception said never to have been done for a king before him. 1

His reign

In 415 came the affair of the solemn oaths between him and the grandees of the state, and he married the daughter of the Kakwayhid king for fifty thousand dinars; he died with eight nights left of Rabi' I 416 at twenty-three years, three months and fourteen days — his reign five years, one month and twenty-five days. 1

بهاء الدولة أبو نصر بن عضد الدولة

Abu Nasr ibn Adud al-Dawla; on Sharaf al-Dawla's death al-Ta'i' came condoling, then invested him — seven robes, black turban, collar, bracelets, sword-bearers before him — as Baha' al-Dawla wa-Diya' al-Milla. In 381 his men dragged al-Ta'i' from the throne, wrapped him in a cloak and made him depose himself for al-Qadir.
