Summary

Fatima bint Amr ibn A'idh ibn Imran ibn Makhzum ibn Yaqaza ibn Murra was the wife of Abd al-Muttalib and the mother of Abdullah, the Prophet's father. So she is the Prophet's paternal grandmother. She was of Banu Makhzum, one of the branches of Quraysh 1 2.

Her lineage in The Sealed Nectar

When the book reaches Abdullah, the Prophet's father, it gives his mother's full lineage: Fatima bint Amr ibn A'idh ibn Imran ibn Makhzum ibn Yaqaza ibn Murra 1 3. Hence Abdullah's maternal uncles were of Banu Makhzum, and they were the ones who prevented Abd al-Muttalib from sacrificing him along with his brother Abu Talib when the arrows fell upon him (Abd al-Muttalib's vow and the lot) 1 4.

From another source

Al-Baladhuri mentions that her mother was Fatima bint Abdullah ibn Rizam al-Hawaziniyya, and that the mother of this Fatima, Fatima bint al-Harith ibn Bahtha ibn Sulaym, died in childbirth, so the girl was named after her 5.

Not covered here

The Sealed Nectar does not mention her birth, her death, or her other children by Abd al-Muttalib. What the genealogy books say, that Abu Talib, al-Zubayr and Abdullah were full brothers from the same mother, needs a source that can be read and quoted.

For young visitors

Fatima bint Amr is the Prophet's grandmother on his father's side, of Banu Makhzum, one of the great families of Quraysh. Because she was of Banu Makhzum, the maternal uncles of her son Abdullah stood against his grandfather when he wanted to sacrifice him.
