Al-Ghurur ibn al-Mundhir ibn al-Nu'man ibn al-Mundhir, from the house of the kings of al-Hira. With him, after the death of the Prophet, those of Abd al-Qays who had embraced Islam returned to their former religion. 1

In Ibn Hisham's biography

Ibn Ishaq mentions him in the account of al-Jarud: when those who had embraced Islam returned to their former religion with al-Ghurur ibn al-Mundhir, al-Jarud rose and called to Islam. 1 The editors relate from al-Suhayli that his name was al-Mundhir, and that he was called al-Ghurur because he deceived his people on the day of the Ridda wars. 1

Amr ibn Ma'dikarib stayed among Banu Zubayd under Farwa ibn Musayk; when the Prophet died he apostatised and said two verses disparaging Farwa's rule, calling him Abu Umayr. He was later captured in the ridda and returned to Islam, as Ibn Hajar reports from Sayf.
