Summary
Malik transmits from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of God ﷺ sent a detachment, among them Abdullah ibn Umar, toward Najd; they took much booty of camels, and their shares were twelve camels or eleven, and each one was given one camel as an extra share. The editor notes that Yahya doubted between the two numbers; Ibn Abd al-Barr thought twelve is correct without doubt; and that Malik alone had the doubt. 1
