Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Nafi that the Messenger of God ﷺ saw a woman killed in one of his expeditions, and disapproved of it, and forbade the killing of women and children. The editor notes that most of the Muwatta transmitters narrated it from Nafi as relayed, while Abu Musab connected it from Ibn Umar. 1
