Summary
Malik says that the ruling for the penalty of an offering is a sheep, because God called it an offering in His Book, and that is without dispute in his view. Whatever does not reach the point of being judged by a camel or a cow, its ruling is a sheep; and what does not reach a sheep, there is an expiation of fasting or feeding the needy. 1
