«نعم فليحكه وليشدد، ولو رُبطت يداي ولم أجد إلا رجلي لحككت»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
Malik transmits from Alqama ibn Abi Alqama, from his mother, that she heard Aisha, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, asked about the one in ihram: may he scratch his body? She said: yes, let him scratch and press hard; even if my hands were tied and I had only my feet, I would scratch. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1194), Suwayd (581) and al-Shaybani (435) transmitted it from Malik. 1
