Summary
A question put to Malik about a woman who wakes up fasting in Ramadan and passes a clot of fresh blood out of her usual time for menstruation; then she waits until evening and sees nothing; then the next morning she passes another clot less than the first, and the flow stops for her some days before her period. Malik said: that blood is from menstruation; when she sees it she should break her fast and make up what she broke; when the blood leaves her she washes and fasts. The editor notes that Abu Musab (825) transmitted it from Malik. 1
