Summary
Malik transmits from Abdallah ibn Dinar, who said: Abdullah ibn Umar and I were at the house of Khalid ibn Uqba in the market, when a man came wanting to speak privately with him, and there was no one with them besides me and the man. Ibn Umar called another man until there were four of them, then said to me and to the man he had called: step back a little, for I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: two may not confide in each other to the exclusion of a third. 1
