Summary
Malik transmits from Ayyub ibn Habib, client of Said ibn Abi Waqqas, from Abu al-Muthanna al-Juhani, that he was with Marwan ibn al-Hakam when Abu Said al-Khudri (may God be pleased with him) came in. Marwan said to him: did you hear from the Messenger of God ﷺ that he forbade blowing into drinks? Abu Said said: yes. A man said: Messenger of God, I cannot quench my thirst in one breath. The Prophet said to him: take the cup from your mouth, then breathe. The man said: I see a speck in it. He said: pour it out. 1
