Summary
Malik said of a man who holds another for a man who strikes him and he dies on the spot: if he held him seeing that the other intends to kill him, both are killed for him. If he held him seeing that he only wants to strike him, as people strike, and did not see it as intent to kill him, then the killer is killed, and the one who held him is punished most severely and imprisoned for a year, and is not killed. 1
