Summary
Malik transmits from a narrator he trusts, from Bukayr ibn Abdallah ibn al-Ashajj, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hubab al-Ansari, from Abu Qatada al-Ansari, that the Prophet ﷺ forbade drinking dates and raisins together, and unripe dates and ripe dates together. The editor notes that al-Mizzi and al-Khatib identified the unnamed trusted narrator, and that the unnamed form is preserved, as in the Muwatta. 1
