Summary
Yahya said: I heard Malik say of a man who pledges an orchard for a named term, when the fruit of that orchard comes before that term: the fruit is not part of the pledge with the root, unless the pledgee stipulated it in his pledge. If a man pledges a slave-girl who is pregnant, or who becomes pregnant after he pledged her, her child goes with her. 1
