Summary
Malik says of a man given money for profit-sharing, who traded with it, made a profit, then separated the capital and divided the profit, taking his share and casting the owner's share into the money, in the presence of witnesses he called. Malik said: dividing the profit is not valid except in the presence of the owner of the money. If he took something, he returns it, until the owner of the money receives his capital, then the two divide what remains between them according to their condition. 1
