Summary
Malik says: the known, lawful form of profit-sharing is that a man takes money from its owner on condition that he works with it, with no guarantee on him. The worker's expenses on the money during his journey, of food, clothing and what suits him in a customary way, are in proportion to the money when he travels with it, if the money can bear that. If he is resident at home, he has no expenses or clothing from the money. 1
