Summary
Malik says of a man who took money for profit-sharing, bought goods with it, and owed a debt. His creditors pursued him in a city far from the owner of the money, and in his hands was goods that had risen in value, with their profit apparent, and they wanted the goods sold for them, to take their share of the profit. Malik said: nothing is taken from the profit of the profit-sharing until the owner of the money is present, takes his money, and then they divide the profit according to their condition. 1
