Summary
Malik says of a man given money for profit-sharing, who transgressed and bought goods with it, adding to their price from his own money. Malik said: the owner of the money has the choice: whether the goods are sold at a profit or a loss, or not sold; if he wishes to take the goods, he takes them and repays what he advanced on them. If he refuses, the worker is a partner with him in proportion to his share of the price, in growth and loss, according to what the worker added from his own. 1
